The Romans thought of their many gods as powerful, superior, divine, and many more things. The Romans took many influences from other countries when it came to religion and gods. For example they started thinking about their gods as being gods that were like humans because of the Greeks. The way the Romans worship all 12 of their main gods in one way is that they worshiped a pantheon, on which there were six gods and also six goddesses. Finally, another thing that the Romans believed about their gods was that gods in Rome with wings or chariots was that they stood for Ancient Aliens as either gods or goddesses.

Ancient Rome Gods Compared to Ancient Rome
One similarity between the Greek and Roman gods was the fact that for each Greek God there was a Roman comparison that was basically the same. In other words an equivalent. Here are all the examples.
Apollo: Apollo
Bacchus: Dionysus
Ceres: Demeter
Eros: Cupid
Hades: Pluto
Hera: Juno
Zeus: Jupiter
Hermes: Mercury
Poseidon: Neptune
Aphrodite: Venus
Ares: Mars
Hecate: Trivia
Nike: Victoria
Pan: Faunas
Hephaestus: Vulcan
Athena: Minerva
Artemis Diana
Cronus: Saturn
Persephone: Proserpina
Another thing that these two places had in common when it came to their gods and religion was that both the Greeks and Romans had 12 main gods that were the most important. One Difference between the gods of Greece and Rome is the people and gods they held highest. For example the Greeks held the poet as the highest because they believed in creativity over actions, so an example of that is that they really honored the god of poetry, Apollo. Now coming to the Romans they believed that actions spoke much louder than their actions, therefor they held the warriors as the highest. Finally a last difference between the gods of Ancient Greece and Rome that I found was that their 12 main gods had different names. In Ancient Greece they were known as the 12 olympians, and in Ancient Rome they were known as the gods and the pantheon. Overall I think and it comes to my mind that the Greece gods and the Roman gods were quite alike.
